Yes. I live in the Midwest, and as most of whoever actually reads this knows, we got pounded by storms yesterday. My awesome cousin, ladykalli here on DA, had more of a scary experience. If I knew how to hyperlink on here, I would. My experience was at school, on the other hand... (I apologize for the randomness. I wrote this to ladykalli, and I'm too lazy to edit a lot of it. xD)

I was just annoyed. We get out at 3:30 every day (OMG SO LATE T-T), and around 3:20, the lights went out, came back on, and then the power went out completely. Not even the emergency lights were on. So, my math teacher (Yes, math is my last class. Grah.) had everyone pull out their cell phones so we could see. I didn't know a storm was going on at the time; I thought it was because of the construction they're doing on the school. It took about ten minutes for the emergency light to come on, and then the principal came on the intercom and said they weren't letting us leave until the tornado warnings went away. So, like five minutes after that, they let the people whose buses were there to leave, and the buses left like five minutes later. I was about twenty minutes late getting home.
The really big thing once I got home, besides the never-ending storm, was at one point, there was lightning that looked like a huge ball of light, and as soon as that appeared, "BOOOOOOOM!!!!"
My mom and I jumped back like five feet. And then my mom was saying, "What did THAT hit?" and made me check our neighbor's chimney, which was okay. And then she wondered if it was the church. I was like, "NU, NOT RISSY'S CHURCH!"
Tis okay, though.
Some schools were closed today; mine wasn't. -_- We never lost our electricity, but some kids at school did. One girl in my Spanish class not only lost her power, but her basement got halfway flooded, too. And their systems were down there, and her dad's work stuff... And, since there was no power, they couldn't do anything about it, and she actually had to go to the YMCA this morning to take a shower.
My math teacher told us about a boy in one of his other classes that had his bedroom in the basement. His bed was under one of those window-thingys, and when he went downstairs, there was a little waterfall going onto his bed. It's a funny mental image, but totally not funny. O.O

So, ladykalli would be the only one who would get the Rissy's Church thing, but essentially, it's just an old, abandoned church that's next to my neighborhood, and it has been dubbed mine by my friends because of Aerith from Final Fantasy VII, and there's some random thing with me being her or some crap like that...

Deesie: You need to teach me how to hyperlink. Now. And where the heck have you been on AIM? xD

Tick: Death. The eternal blink. The capricious dance of Now Ya Stop Movin' Forever. Well contrary to popular belief, death isn't just for dead people. It can happen to anyone.
